Jim is the current President of the Northern Plains Botanic Garden Society. He is also the owner and operator of Pond Filtration Inc. in Fargo, which successfully contracts business both nationally and internationally. Jim is currently on our Development and Building Committees.
John is the current Vice President of the Northern Plains Botanic Garden Society. He is employed by Noridian Administrative Services in Jamestown ND and is the garden editor for the Jamestown Sun. He serves as a horticultural consultant and has degrees in Environmental Design and Landscape Architecture with a minor in horticulture. He is North Dakota’s first Advanced Master Gardener. John is currently on our Public Relations Committee and is Chair of our Membership Committee.
Cathi is the Client Services Advocate for the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center in Fargo. She is also an artist with the fine art of stained glass. She also serves as a chair for our Garden Committee.
Paula is the former Executive Director of the Red River Zoo. She is a Master Falconer and enjoys photographing nature.
A NDSU graduate in Horticulture, Don was employed by the Horticulture Department and Extension Service of NDSU. He and his wife Mary operated a greenhouse/nursery business in south Fargo for twenty years. Don is the garden columnist with the Forum newpaper, which appears in Saturday's paper. He has a weekly gardening program on WDAY radio during the growing season. Don enjoys presenting programs on all phases of gardening and home horticulture to civic groups and any organization interested in gardening.
Bill is the current Treasurer of the Northern Plains Botanic Garden Society. Bill is the Catering Manager at Concordia College. Always having a passion for plants and gardening. He worked part time for Levi Runions Garden Center throughout high school and college and has been planting ever since.
Lisa Brown is the Secretary of the Northern Plains Botanic Garden Society (NPBGS). She is a charter member of NPBGS, a University of Wyoming graduate in Botany, and is employed as a biological technician with the USDA Agricultural Research Service in Fargo. She currently serves on the Garden Committee.
