Cultivate. Grow. Learn.

Free and open to the public, The Northern Plains Botanic Garden Society (NPBGS) invites you to come and enjoy our beautiful gardens located in Fargo, ND. Committed to the understanding, promotion, and appreciation of horticulture, NPBGS enriches and promotes our community through the culture and utilization of plants. We serve the public by providing educational gardening opportunities and promoting good stewardship of the environment. Located in Fargo–Moorhead, we are developing and growing the Northern Plains Botanic Garden, and we invite you to help us in this endeavor.

Get Involved

Become a part of something beautiful. The gardens grow and thrive with the help of volunteers. We invite you to “Get Your Hands Dirty” and “Come Grow with Us” by becoming a volunteer and helping us to create beautiful gardens together. Not into gardening? We have many other ways you can volunteer to help support the gardens and the Northern Plains Botanic Garden Society. You can help build, grow, and support the Botanic Garden and Arboretum today by donating, or considering an opportunity to support via a tribute in memory of a loved one.
