Snow has fallen!
Snow has fallen, and garden construction is done for the season. But NPBGS continues to plan for upcoming events and Botanic garden planting next year.
Look for our upcoming Workshops. Our next program will be the a Holiday Tree Top Workshop on Saturday, November 30th.
Our annual open house, Conversations and Cocoa, will be held on Saturday, January 25th, at the Atrium in the Sanford Neuroscience Clinic. Reconnect with fellow gardeners and friends and enjoy refreshments in the tropical atrium atmosphere!
We will host our annual fundraiser, Tea Time at the Atrium, on Saturday, February 8th. Tickets will be available later in December. Hats are encouraged and we aspire to a Victorian ambiance!
March will bring forth our Annual Meeting just before spring. Stay tuned for more program details.
More plans are being made as we approach our second year of construction of the Edible Forest. We have finalized selection of plants to be planted next spring, which will soon be ordered. We are pleased that we will be able to increase the plant variety in our revised planting plan.
The Edible Forest Task Force continues to fundraise for the Edible Forest. If you wish to donate to the Edible Forest, please do so! We continue to work on informative signs and seating details for the Edible Forest, which will enrich and enhance the garden experience for all who visit. We hope you will consider supporting this wonderful educational garden.
We appreciate all of you who have shown interest in our new Edible Forest, as well as our gardens as a whole. We hope you will join us at gatherings over the winter as we plan for the next growing season.
